Meeting the People Behind Your VIP Experience
ILTM 2026 marked another meaningful close to the year. Beyond reconnecting with our trusted partners, we also discovered new luxury hotels and travel experiences across Europe.
Every year we attend, we gain fresh knowledge and valuable insights into the fast-changing world of luxury travel. Most importantly, we meet the people behind the scenes who will personally look after our VIP travellers.

Chengdu Upper House
Chengdu is one of China’s most popular destinations, known as the home of the giant panda, Sichuan cuisine and spectacular natural landscapes such as Jiuzhaigou Valley, Western Sichuan and Mount Siguniang.
Upper House Chengdu offers generous living spaces, a welcoming neighbourhood atmosphere and a refined sense of comfort. It is a stay we would confidently recommend to our clients.

COMO Alpina Dolomites
The Dolomites cover a vast mountainous region, and planning a journey around it can feel overwhelming. Choosing the right hotel is not only about convenient access. It is also about the activities, experiences and local knowledge available during the stay.
COMO Alpina Dolomites is a ski-in, ski-out property during winter. In the warmer months, the region transforms into a destination for hiking, mountain biking and outdoor adventures.

Meeting China’s Luxury Travel Experts
Travelling through China can be an experience you either love or find challenging, and much of that depends on how the journey is planned and managed.
We want our clients to experience the very best of China. That is why we flew to Beijing to meet the luxury travel specialists working behind the scenes and to understand exactly who will be taking care of our clients throughout their journey.

Mandarin Oriental Qianmen
We were familiar with Beijing’s traditional siheyuan courtyard homes, but we had never experienced a luxury hotel designed as a collection of private courtyard residences spread throughout a historic neighbourhood.
It was only after inspecting Mandarin Oriental Qianmen that we truly understood the concept. The experience feels like stepping back into old Beijing, surrounded by preserved architecture and vintage character, while still enjoying modern comfort, privacy and refined service.
It is not simply a hotel stay. It is an opportunity to experience Beijing’s history from within.

Your Guide to a Luxury Safari
Every year, June to September is one of our busiest periods for African safari journeys. It is a popular season for wildlife sightings, comfortable weather and experiences such as the Great Migration in East Africa.
However, a meaningful safari requires more than selecting a beautiful lodge. The right destination, travel dates, camp location, guide, flight connections and daily activities can completely shape the experience.
We help our clients plan every detail carefully, creating a safari that balances wildlife, comfort, privacy and time to slow down and enjoy the surroundings.

Not Every Safari Lodge Is the Same
A beautiful lodge is only one part of a successful safari. Its location, wildlife access, guiding quality, number of vehicles, room layout and overall atmosphere are just as important.
Some travellers prefer an adventurous tented camp close to the wildlife, while others may prioritise private villas, family-friendly facilities or a more relaxed lodge experience.
Our role is to understand how our clients like to travel and recommend properties that suit their pace, comfort level and expectations, rather than simply choosing the most well-known name.

An Evening with AMAN
The AMAN product showcase introduced us to remarkable properties across Bhutan, India and China, including Yunnan, Shanghai and Hangzhou.
The session gave us a deeper understanding of the unique character of each destination and how every AMAN property is thoughtfully connected to its culture, landscape and surroundings.
The evening ended on a memorable note when our founder won the lucky draw, a wonderful surprise after an inspiring showcase.

Luxury Across South Africa
We had the pleasure of meeting Hoon Kim, who travelled all the way from Cape Town to introduce us to The Royal Portfolio and its collection of distinctive luxury properties across South Africa.
From safari lodges and coastal escapes to art-filled city stays and wine-country retreats, each property offers its own personality while maintaining a strong sense of place and warm South African hospitality.
Meeting the people behind the brand helps us understand which experience is best suited to each client and how their journey will be taken care of on the ground.

The Great Wall Is Not for Everyone
The Great Wall may not appeal to everyone at first glance. Its beauty is not only found in its appearance, but also in the feeling you experience when standing there.
You begin to understand that parts of this enormous structure were built more than 2,000 years ago to protect the country from invasion. Without modern machinery or technology, generations of people constructed walls across mountains and difficult landscapes, and many sections are still standing today.
What makes it remarkable is not simply its size. It represents human determination, sacrifice and decisions that continued to influence generations. Today, the Great Wall remains one of the New Seven Wonders of the World and one of history’s most extraordinary achievements.
